Pro Tip: Lighting is often one of the last things installed during a build, which can lead to rushed decisions or limited options. Planning ahead gives you the time to explore your choices fully, and ensures your favourite pieces can be ordered and delivered in time.
Bring Your Plans
If you’re building or renovating, bring your floor plans to your lighting appointment. It helps us understand the layout and spot potential constraints like concrete slabs, skillion roofs, or bench lengths.
Photos Are Helpful
If you're renovating or already have an existing space, photos are incredibly useful. They give us a clear picture of what we’re working with.

At We Ponder, we celebrate the exceptional skills of Tasmanian craftspeople. Founded by Interior Designer Rose Kiselev, our mission is to offer clients the beauty of Australian handmade lighting. We've brightened spaces across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond with our unique designs.
Based in Tasmania, we began with ceramic wall lights crafted by local ceramicist Ian Clare. Now, we're thrilled to include handblown glass elements from a talented Tasmanian glass artist - Keith Dougall. Each piece celebrates local artistry, designed to inspire and bring joy to your space.

At Marz Designs, we take great pride in designing versatile lighting systems to visually and emotionally enhance your environment.
Considered designer lighting provides much more than just light. Enhance the architectural features in your home or building project with our unique designs to create depth, highlight cosy corners and reinvigorate the overall interior. From brass ceiling lights and timber pendant lights to articulating wall lights and table lamps, Marz Designs lighting offers a tactile addition and warmth to any space including the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and outdoor areas at your residential or commercial project.
All our lighting components are designed with sustainability in mind. For example, the Selene Surface Sconce and Selene Wall Light were conceived because one of our timber collaborators pointed out that there was an opportunity to repurpose the FSC-certified timber offcuts of the Terra 00 range. We also, where possible, choose to work with local suppliers such as glass blowers and ceramicists, to limit the manufacturing radius required for a complete light to be assembled.
Our lights place great emphasis on materiality, incorporating ceramic, wood, brass, glass and stone throughout our different designs and styles, pairing them with contemporary finishes such as brass and powder coat.
